December 2023: lindy hop with Paul Wiilson and Jo Bradley.

-
Beginners: These Lindy Hop classes will be taught in monthly themed blocks with progression throughout the month. If you're a complete beginner, join us from the start of the calendar month, but don't worry if you can't make all the lessons, the teachers will briefly recap the key points from the previous lesson at the start of the next.
-
Intermediates: We expect that you will be comfortable leading and following a social dance, mixing 6 and 8 count basics, comfortable with charleston in side by side and hand to hand, adding musical breaks, know a tuck turn, bring back, swing out, and circle. You will want to challenge yourself to learn new techniques and moves, receive personalised feedback, be able to reflect on your dancing in different ways. You will have attended beginners classes for at least 6 months, covering multiple different blocks. If you have any questions about whether you’re ready please ask any of our teachers.

After each lesson there's some social dancing/practice time so you can try out your moves. If you'd like to do more social dancing, don't forget our Tuesday social nights, too (where there may even be a live band).

This course will take place on the 6th, 13th and 20th December. There's no lesson on 27th December.
An Access to Dance coupon code is available, giving a £7 discount for those who would otherwise be unable to afford to attend. Use the ACCESS2SHAG code for that.
