7pm - Taster Class - Switching between Balboa and Shag
There are no sign ups, everyone's invited!
So, you want to try out a bit of both dances with this partner? Or perhaps the music changes mid song? In this class, Izzy and Immy will explore how to move between Balboa and Shag. Focusing on keeping the feel of the dances distinctive while being able to respond to the music and have a couple of easy transitions between the dances, and a chance to figure out some of your own ideas too...

Requirements: you will know the basic footwork of both Collegiate Shag and Balboa.

Social Dancing 7.30pm - midnight
Cambridge regular's know them well, with the Last Chance Ragtime Band providing a great foundation for our Saturday night party.

Join us from 10:30-12:45, upstairs at Thrive Cafe Cambridge, 5-7 Norfolk Street, Cambridge, CB1 2LD. Thrive is a community hub that welcomes dogs and dancers alike.
​
There is delicious plant-based food and drink available to purchase from the cafe, have brunch, have a chat, have a boogie, before heading to your Sunday afternoon classes (a 20 minute walk from the cafe).
​
There are limited spaces at this venue and will require pre-booking for those who already have a ticket. Prebooking can include prebooked food, or just dancing. An email was sent out to those with full passes and weekend social passes in January sharing how to book.
Sunday Evening
Social Dancing 5.30 - 8.30pm
Come straight from classes, find food at the pub and relax, or have a dance straight away!
Django's Tiger will return to provide another few sets for us to dance to to wind up our weekend.​
