We'll have:

5 parties with live bands, including our late night Blues and Sunday pub sessions.
Taster sessions around our theme, with a jam session for musicians and singers (and dancers!), and vinyl sets.
Board games and chill out time.

All sales on this site, including returns via our waiting list, are now closed. If you have a ticket and cannot attend, you can make a private sale as described in our Terms and Conditions.

Because of space limitations we do not offer tickets for individual nights, but only for the Sunday tea dance. Tea dance tickets will cost £15 by card/contactless payment on the door, and will include the musicality workshop with the band at noon, followed by the tea dance itself (see the timetable). You can also join us in the pub afterwards as that's a public house.

Basin Street Brawlers

The Basin Street Brawlers are ´London´s top hot jazz ensemble´ (visitlondon.com). This band of master musicians swing and stomp their way through the most beautiful melodies and raucous rags of the 1920s and 1930s ´with all the energy and assurance of a bunch of Kansas City veterans´ (The Sunday Times).

Louise Messenger's Savoy Swing

Louise Messenger’s Savoy Swing are a standout on the UK swing scene. Based in London and showcasing some of the country’s finest jazz talent, the band brings the dancefloor to life with a joyful mix of timeless standards, gems from the Great American Songbook, and classic Lindy Hop and Balboa favourites. Swing dancers across the UK, Europe, and Australia have been captivated by Louise's performances, including her work with The Gordon Webster Band and The Intercontinentals.

Loredana Fantini & Eric Ranzoni

With a deep-seated love for blues since 1998, Loredana is a passionate and dedicated blues singer. She has journeyed through the musical landscape, honing her craft and leaving a mark on every stage she graces. She will perform with renowned blues pianist Eric Ranzoni (Mud Morganfield's tour pianist), bringing a wealth of experience and a captivating presence to her act.

Django's Tiger

Django’s Tiger play swing in the tradition of Django Reinhardt and Stefan Grapelli.

This music (known variously as gypsy jazz, jazz manouche or gypsy swing) grew out of a fusion of American swing jazz of the 1920s to 40s, Parisian musette dancehall music, and traditional gypsy tunes. It is melodic, and with an infectious sense of fun; the strong dance rhythms are perfect for swing dancing.

Venues

The weekend will be held at Storey's Field Centre in Eddington on the outskirts of Cambridge, with additional parties at Marleigh Community Centre and a local pub. For Storey's Field, there is free parking in the local park and ride facility, and buses go there regularly from the station and city centre. Find out more:
